We are getting very close to the end of the school year and are looking forward to the 8th grade Celebration of Promotion.
DATE: Thursday, June 10th
TIME: 6:00pm, students should arrive between 5:15-5:30pm
LOCATION: BMS Auditorium
Each student will be allowed to bring three guests. We will provide each student with three tickets on Tuesday, June 8th during promotion rehearsal. If your child will not be in school for promotion rehearsal on June 8th or 9th, please call the main office to arrange pick up of your tickets during the week of June 7th. Also, if any family member attending the promotion ceremony will need seating which accommodates a wheel chair, please let the main office know by Friday, June 4th.
NOTE: families may request a fourth ticket on a first-come, first-served basis.
For all RSU 25 end of year activities, the following health and safety guidelines for COVID will be in place:
Masks are encouraged but not required of family members attending;
Seating is limited to those with tickets;
There will be designated spacing between family groups;
Family photos will be taken outside after the ceremony.
I also want to remind students and families to follow our daily health & safety procedures- we don’t want anyone to have to quarantine for 10 days and miss promotion and other end of year activities.
Finally, a reminder of 8th grade end of year dates:
Tuesday, June 8th: promotion rehearsal, 9:45-10:45.
Wednesday, June 9th: 8th grade field day, promotion rehearsal 9:30-10:10
Thursday, June 10th: no school for 8th grade students.
